INGREDIENTS

500 gr rolled oats
4 tbsp. ground seeds (flax seed, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed)
320 gr honey
220 gr hazelnut butter
200 gr hazelnuts
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp salt
200 gr dark chocolate chopped or chocolate drops

INSTRUCTIONS

1.Preheat the oven to 180ο Celsius.
2.In a small saucepan, combine butter and honey. Whisk gently and melt over low heat.
3.Crush nuts with the multi-cutter or with the mortar and pestle.
4.In a large bowl bring all the ingredients together.
5.Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes approximately.
6.Stir the mixture near halfway point.
7.Once granola is golden brown, remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
8.It will crisp up as it cools.
9.Mix granola with chocolate drops.
10.Transfer to an airtight container.
11.Enjoy with milk or yogurt.

Notes

  1. You can always halve the recipe.
  2. You can replace hazelnut butter and hazelnuts with any nut butter – nuts you like.
